SKUNK BATH

One of the best recipes for decreasing the odor when your dog gets skunked follows. Unfortunately even with this recipe, the smell will linger at least a little, especially when it rains.

Mix

1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide

¼ cup of baking soda

1 teaspoon of liquid soap

Bath your dog in this combination. Be sure to keep it out of your dog’s eyes. Let it soak for 10 minutes then rinse well.
